Paid links on this guide
This guide earns money from two ad blocks on the start page and nowhere else. This page explains what is paid, what is not, and how to check the advertiser yourself.

The short version
This guide is free to read. It is paid for in one place only: the start page.
The start page has two blocks marked Ad. Both lead to an online casino partner. If a reader signs up through one of those blocks, the partner pays this guide a commission.
The partner can change. When it does, the blocks change with it. The Ad label stays.
What is not paid
Every other link on the site is unpaid. That includes:
- links to River Cree Resort & Casino and its own pages
- links to Play Alberta, AGLC and the Alberta iGaming Corporation
- links to help lines, GameSense and self-exclusion
- links to the City of Edmonton, ETS and other official sources
No casino or venue pays for coverage. River Cree and the stops on Casinos along the way are described from published information, listed on Where the facts come from. The inner pages carry no ads.
Check the partner yourself
This guide does not claim that the partner is registered in Alberta. Check that yourself before you go any further.
The Alberta iGaming Corporation keeps a directory of registered iGaming sites at abigaming.ca. The corporation says that an operator missing from its directory is not regulated. AGLC also publishes a searchable registry. It shows each registered company next to its site names.

Adults only
Gambling in Alberta is for adults, 18 and over. The ad blocks are meant for adult readers only.
